Black & Tan
There was a time when you could only get a decent black & tan at a pub. The reason for this is simple, in order for the Guinness and Bass to separate you need to have the Guinness infused with Nitrogen instead of your standard Carbon Dioxide.
Not too long ago Guinness solved this problem by placing a small Nitrogen canister inside cans of their Stout. However until very recently bottles of Guinness Stout still contained Carbon Dioxide (like all other beers).
Now with the introduction of "Guinness Draught", Nitrogen pushed Stout can be had in the bottle. So using the following steps you can have a good Black & Tan anytime you want right out of your fridge.
Most stores carry Guinness & Bass in the bottle. If you don't have a nice set of pint glasses or a good spoon, I did find some at Amazon.com. (The spoon I used was a little messy so the towel came in handy)
